The Finnish Operations Research Society organizes an event where doctoral studies in operations research are introduced. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in postgraduate studies to learn about a PhD in OR.

- 16:30 Perspectives on completing a doctoral degree in different departments
- Prof. Eeva Vilkkumaa tells about the Department of Information and Service Management in Aalto University School of Business
- Prof. Ahti Salo introduces the Systems Analysis Laboratory in Aalto University.
- 17:15 A panel discussion
- Current and graduated doctoral students reflect on their experiences with doctoral studies in the OR field. Audience is welcome to pose questions.
After the event, you have the option to continue the discussions in a nearby restaurant in Otaniemi at your own expense.
