Join us for an Insightful Seminar on Operations Research strengthening Societal Resilience!

How can operations research help societies withstand disruptions and thrive in uncertain times? The Finnish Operations Research Society invites you to an engaging seminar exploring this critical question.

Four expert speakers will share their insights on:
🔹 Critical infrastructures and their resilience in the Finnish context: What are the key vulnerabilities, and how can we safeguard essential systems?
🔹 Infrastructure performance under weaponized disinformation: How do misinformation campaigns impact infrastructure and decision-making?
🔹 Psychological resilience and risk management: How can Finland strengthen societal resilience through collaborative strategies?
🔹 Building supply chain resilience: What strategies help supply chains adapt and recover from disruptions?

After the seminar, FORS board members and seminar speakers will continue the discussion over dinner at Fat Lizard Otaniemi. Please let us know if you’re interested in participating in this self-funded dinner by answering the relevant question on the registration form, allowing us to adjust the table reservations accordingly. You are also welcome to join us only for drinks at Fat Lizard.
